Name: Anna Dupont
Years Coaching/Choreographing: 20
Current Students/Clients:
My students range from dancers at the conservatory level to beginners. Figure skaters who study with me include Danil Andropov, Natalya Romanova's students, as well as my son.
Brief Bio:
I began studying ballet when I was four years old. Under the tutelage of Lidia Ivanova Ulanova, my technique was honed, allowing me to become a prima ballerina with the Bolshoi, Kirov, and Paris ballets. In 1983 I opened my own studio in Paris and have trained dancers who are now with companies around the world.
Available/accepting New Students/Clients:
I am currently accepting both new students and clients.
Other :
Teaching Philosophy - I wish to not only impart technical knowledge, but a love of ballet to my students. Also, regardless of experience, I insist on daily practice of basic barre exercises to refine technique.
Studio Services - My studio offers ballet classes to people of all ages and proficiencies in dance. Class size is kept at no more than fifteen students, to allow each to receive some individual instruction. Private lessons with me are also available. I also conduct master classes at various universities and dance conferences throughout the year. I am also proud to announce the addition of Svetlana Kolesnikova-Dupont to the dance faculty of my studio.
