The following rules are in play as of August 19th, 2006.
Only create a skating characters you plan to WRITE. If you just want to see how your skater places in competitions, please join another game. That is not what this game is for.
If you don't write the skaters within a month of posting their profile, their profile will be removed and they will be considered nonexistent. Of course, exceptions to this rule are if something happens to the writer, if they're offline due to computer/internet problems, or if they're away on a trip with little to no computer/internet access, or if there's some emergency.
I ask that if you are going to be away for a while you PM or e-mail me, letting me know. Your skaters will still be in competitions while you're gone.

OK, we all want our skaters to be "perfect." Problem is, there is rarely such a thing. Perfection is, by its very nature, nearly impossible to achieve in anything, there are always flaws, from obvious ones to minute ones. If you describe your skaters' skating and are particular about it, please decide what their flaws will be. From falling constantly or two-footing on jumps, flutzing, lipping, underrotating, poor posture, bad centering on spins, poor edges, poor toe work, if they have a tendency to not match the music, positions don't last very long, and even flexibility can be a weakness if the position is not done correctly, like a Biellmann. Things like that. Real skaters have such flaws, so it's just my opinion that our skaters should have them too.
