As one would expect in real life, I host many annual competitions, and Olympics every two years. I choose to host them every two years so that more of you get to enter and more often. I have only recently adopted professional competitions as well as amateur competitions, and plenty of Pro-Am competitions, which let amateur skaters compete with or against the professionals. I also hold showcases where skaters can simply show off, have fun, raise money for charitable causes. In showcases, sometimes live entertainment will be featured. Who that is and what will be performed varies from show to show.
I will use a random number generator for each element posted in a skater's program, and determine how well the element was done. At the end of the program, I will give a few extra points for how difficult the program is, deduct for possible injuries, time, illegal music, illegal moves, costume malfunctions and other such violations, if there are any, and then the highest total wins the competition.
Sometimes, only one member will be in a competition. In such a case, they can tell me where they want their skater(s) to place, and the competition post will reflect that.
What would skating be without a good judging scandal now and then? Well, I don't intend to show bias, which is why I will post the random number generator screencaps under each skaters' elements. However, if you want to create a scandal for RP purposes, you are welcome to do so in this fashion:
If you are the only member in a competition/discipline:
Simply tell me before the competition is held, and the posting of the competition will reflect that.
If you are NOT the only member:
All members involved in the specific competition MUST agree to the scandal proposal BEFORE the judging happens. If a majoity decides they want the scandal, the post will reflect that the scandal occurred. If a majority does NOT agree, then the scandal never happened. Period.
If you are upset about your results, you have every right to challenge me and my mathematics by lodging a formal protest in the Members' Area. There, I will abstain from the proceedings as the other members, and you, check my math. If the UNANIMOUS result is that I made a mistake, I will correct it immediately. If a UNANIMOUS result is that I was right, the protest must be dropped.
