Danil Andropov's Wedding: Weston, Vermont

This thread is about the wedding of Danil Andropov to Peter Zemeckis in a civil ceremony in Weston, Vermont. The plans for the wedding are as follows:

April 10th: Those that wish to come and stay for a few days are welcome. Accomodations are at the Colonial House Inn & Motel, but if that is not where you wish to stay there are plenty of other cozy retreats in the city.

April 14th: Rehearsal Dinner, held at a country club. There technically won't be much of a rehearsal because this isn't where the ceremony will be, but this is a way to kind of celebrate early.

April 15th: Civil ceremony, then reception, both held in an outdoor pavillion in the mountains by the river. It's more informal than the rehearsal dinner. There will be games, dancing, plenty of food, boating, fishing, etc. Alcohol is provided.

April 16th: Danil and Peter leave for their honeymoon. Those that wish to stay in the Inn or whereever they are staying are welcome to, everything is paid up until the 24th.

(ooc: just so you know, Kim Seymour is the real Inkeeper at the Colonial House Inn, but of course this is a fictional storyline so you know she has nothing to do with this site LOL)

It was a bright spring day as Danil Andropov drove up to the Colonial House Inn & Motel. He was driving a rental car, riding with his fiance, Peter Zemeckis. It was just five days before they were to be married in a civil ceremony outside in a beautifully-decorated pavillion by the river in the midst of the trees in the mountains that gave the state its name, from the FRrench for "Green Mountain."

"I can't believe you found this place," Peter said with a relaxed sigh, leaning back in the seat as he looked out the window, watching the trees pass by. "It's gorgeous. So peaceful and serene."

Danil parked the car, got out with Peter and let Zoloto run for a little while as they got Vaska, who was in his carrier in he backseat, and headed to the Inn to check in. Danil smiled at the owner, who was acting as concierge in the quaint country bed and breakfast.

"I'm Danil Andropov, I made reservations for my family and friends and I. Many of the guests will be arriving shortly."

"Welcome, Mr. Andropov, and congratulations on winning the Olympics this year," said the owner, smiling gently at him. "We're very pleased to accomodate you and your party."

"Well, I'm pleased that you allow pets!" Danil said wih a laugh as the owner handed him a small gift bag full of dog treats for Zoloto. "This is my dog, Zoloto."

"Hello, Zoloto," the woman said lovingly, smiling at the golden retriever. "Is Zoloto a boy or a girl?"

"She's a girl," Danil replied.

"Well, we're delighted to have her. I'm Kim Seymour, Innkeeper here. You are welcome to heck in your rooms. I believe you requested seperate rooms for you and your fiance?" she asked.

"Yes. It's just an idea I had, we don't want to celebrate too early," Danil said bashfully.

"I understand, believe me," Kim said with a laugh. She handed them two keys and guided them to their rooms, which were, oddly enough, righ across from each other.

"Thank you very much, Ms. Seymour," Danil said, once she showed them both their rooms in detail like a gracious hostess.

"Call me Kim, and you're more than welcome." She smiled, and the bells at the door chimed to signal that someone was coming in. "If you'll excuse me," she said, then left to greet the visitor.

"May I help you, sir?" she asked.
